Key takeaways from Oslo Innovation Week
What an event! Thanks for everyone that joined and also a huge thanks to the speakers that joined the event.
👉 Oscar Nordström (Neonomics) kicked off day with a talk on what the future of open banking looks like 🔭One key takeaway was that payments are just the tip of the iceberg. There are still so many opportunities for businesses and financial institutions to leverage on the embedded finance and data side of open banking.
👉Next off, we had "Payments as the key to a seamless customer experience" panel 🔐We had Zbigniew as moderator, joined by Daro (Dintero), Terje (Elkjøp Norge AS), and Ado (Neonomics). It was interesting to hear just how much of an impact payments has on the customer journey and how the pandemic has grown this tremendously. Terje also highlighted how Elkjøp see different payment preferences across different countries, so having a variety of payment options is the preferred option for a seamless customer experience.
👉 Lastly, we had the panel "How banks will change by 2030" 💸We were joined by Kristina (DNB), David (Lunar), Tor L.(Banqsoft) and Seweryn (Comarch). There were a lot of interesting discussions around embedded finance and the shift towards invisible finance, sustainability, but also the acknowledgement that banks have an increasing responsibility to educate and financially advise their customers during difficult times ahead.
Big thanks to our partners Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Comarch for this opportunity. We had a blast! 🚀
